God is like a loving parent who takes our hand, eases our fears, and helps us through life.
What is God saying to us today?
Sometimes we struggle with letting God take our hands. Just like when our parents took our hands when we were children, there were times when we don’t want them to - we wanted to go where we wanted. But God, like our parents, has our best interests at heart. We are like children trying to cross a busy street. God doesn’t just let us try to cross on our own, He takes our hand and guides us safely past the speeding “cars and trucks” of life. It is by taking His hand that we ultimately find comfort and safety.
